CCTV and BMS Technician

 We are looking for a skilled CCTV and BMS Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of CCTV systems and Building Management Systems (BMS) in commercial, residential, and industrial environments. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling surveillance systems, security systems integration, and automation equipment, with a strong focus on operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• CCTV Systems Installation & Maintenance:
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related components.
  • Perform periodic maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades on existing CCTV systems.
  • Ensure the correct setup of storage systems, network configurations, and security measures.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for surveillance issues, both onsite and remotely.
• Building Management System (BMS) Installation & Support:
  • Install, configure, and test BMS equipment including HVAC, lighting, energy management, access control, and alarms.
  • Assist in setting up and programming sensors, controllers, and communication devices related to building automation.
  • Monitor BMS functions and performance, troubleshooting issues as necessary.
  • Support team members and ensure BMS systems are integrated into client infrastructures.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to CCTV cameras, BMS systems, and networking equipment.
  • Ensure optimal performance of the security systems, both CCTV and BMS.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all installations, service calls, and system configurations.
• Customer Interaction and Technical Advice:
  • Act as the primary technical contact for customers, providing advice and assistance related to CCTV and BMS system setups.
  • Offer guidance on system capabilities, proper usage, and best practices.
  • Provide training to clients or staff on how to use the systems efficiently.
• Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure that all CCTV and BMS equipment complies with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
  • Maintain detailed service records for every installation and repair service performed.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) as a CCTV and BMS Technician.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and video analytics.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC control, automation, and energy management systems.
• Solid understanding of networking, IP configurations, and video surveillance integration.
• Experience with troubleshooting and performing upgrades/repairs on security and automation systems.
